Vivian was called to the Bar of the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1984, after graduating University of Windsor Law School. She taught the Legal Research and Writing Program at the University of Windsor Law School and oversaw their Student Legal Clinic from 1984 to 1986, when she moved to Barrie.
Vivian came to Burgar Rowe in 1989, after 3 years in private practice. She practiced Municipal Law at Burgar Rowe for 12 years, serving a number of institutional and private clients.
In 2000, Vivian withdrew from the practice of law to pursue her love of computers and technology. She manages the firm’s Information Technology department, bringing her years of legal background and experience to Knowledge Management, Document Automation and Technology innovation at Burgar Rowe. She also provides consulting services and training to Simcoe area law firms, drawing on both her legal background and her technology expertise.
Vivian is an avid gardener, former Big Sister and very bad golfer.
